Czechs sole bidders for Russian wind power plants

Russian wind power plants: Czech investment fund Falcon Capital is reported to have been the only company to bid for the tenders to build wind power plants in Russia. Sovet Rynka, the organisation which regulates the country’s retail and wholesale power markets, put tenders out for the construction of a total of 1.6 gigawatts (GW) of wind power facilities over the next three years but investors may have been discouraged from participating because the tenders stipulate that 55% of the equipment must be built locally in 2015 and 65% in 2016-2018ITAR-TASS
