Iran invites oil multinationals to invest: Iran is to lay out new terms and conditions for US and European companies looking to invest in its energy and other industrial sectors at an event in London this September, the head of the Oil Contracts Revision Committee of the country’s Ministry of Petroleum Mehdi Hosseini told the Iranian news agency  IRNA on Sunday. Its National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) is believed to be looking to set up joint ventures with foreign companies if sanctions are lifted in the event of the deal on Iran’s nuclear power programme holding.
