McDonalds signs Siberian franchise deal for 20 outlets

McDonald's RussiaThe US. fast food giant McDonalds is to open up to 20 outlets in Siberia after signing a franchising agreement with the Inrusinvest property development company. The outlets will start appearing in the Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Tomsk and Altai regions next year, Inrusinvest’s General Director Yevgeny Zenin announced this week. While 81% of McDonald’s restaurants around the world are operated through franchise agreements,the only Russian franchises are currently the two outlets run by Rosinter at Pulkovo Airport outside St Petersburg.
