Pakistan LPG: Russia has agreed to step up cooperation with the authorities in Islamabad to tackle Pakistan’s’ ongoing energy crisis, with the announcement this week that RusGaz Engineering had been nominated to help build a number of LPG air-mix plants across the country. The plants are scheduled to be operational by May.
Last October, the two countries have already signed a government-level contract for the laying of North-South LNG pipeline running from Lahore to Karachi, although no commercial agreements has as yet been finalised.
